FAQS136: How can I restore a data file used with the Personal or Professional Editions and SOHO Standard or Advanced Editions that I have previously backed up?

The Personal, Professional and SOHO Standard and Advanced Editions use a SQL Server Express database. To restore your data, do the following (Note: This must be done from the computer on which SQL Express is installed):

  1. Locate the program MXSQLManager.exe from the \Program Files\MXContactEE folder.

  2. Then run the utility:



  3. Click on Restore. The following dialog will appear:



  4. Click on Browse and navigate to the path/name of your backup file, select it and click OK. Then click Restore.
