How do I log a Support issue?

To log a Support issue, please send an e-mail to support@exchangewise.com, giving us the following information:

  1. What Edition of MX-Contact have you installed? Evaluation/Personal/Professional/Workgroup/Corporate/Enterprise
  2. What version of MX-Contact is installed? (To see this, click the About-MX-Contact icon to the far left of the main MX-Contact Toolbar)
  3. Outlook/Office Environment:
    Outlook Version: 2000/2002/2003

    Outlook Language: English/German/Other (Please specify):
  4. Operating System:

  5. Was Outlook installed separately from Office, i.e. from a different CD?
  6. Was Outlook upgraded from a previous version. If so what was the previous version?
  7. Where is your MX-Contact set of folders?
    Personal Folders File (MXContact.pst)
    Public Folders
    SQL Database (Enterprise Edition)
  8. Do you have any other Outlook COM Add-Ins installed?
  9. What Mail Format is your Outlook set to?
    Plain Text
    Rich Text
    HTML
  10. Are you using Word as your E-Mail Editor?
  11. Are you using MX-Contact in off-line mode? Is so does the problem only occur when you are off-line?
  12. Do you have a Virus Checker Installed? If so, which product/version?
  13. Describe the problem:
  14. Describe the exact steps taken to reproduce the problem, from the time you open Outlook.
  15. Do you believe this is a Bug in MX-Contact or an environmental problem caused by a combination of software, operating system, and/or Outlook/Office versions on your particular machine?
