The "Do-It-Yourself Implementation involves purchasing the software and either using the system as it is delivered "out-of-the box" or customising the standard system utilising your own IT resources or those you contract yourself.

  Administrator’s Guide
   Developer’s Guide

However, if you are planning the implementation yourself and you do not have extensive experience in implementing software projects, then it is worthwhile considering purchasing the optional Implementation Pack.
