Learning how to effectively use your new MX-Contact
system is perhaps the most important activity you can do to ensure
a successful implementation. We provide high-quality training programs
that give you the individual attention you need when learning a
new system.
We offer a number of training
programs:
|
User Training |
|
Trainer (i.e. Train the Trainer)
|
|
Administration Training |
|
Developer Training |
Most of these classes are required for a typical MX-Contact
implementation. The classes are designed to build on each other
rather than stand alone as individual modules. For example, the
System Administration class assumes that you have a working knowledge
of the MX-Contact system gained in the MX-Contact User Training
Class. You must ensure that each participant has successfully completed
any prerequisites applicable to the course.
Course attendance is limited to 8
students per customer per session. The recommended class size is
6 students.
Training Facilities
If ExchangeWise does training on-site you are required
to provide a training room with the following:
|
projection screen |
|
light control |
|
white board or writing pad and easel |
You must provide each student with a
computer meeting the minimum MX-Contact requirements. We suggest
that the student’s computer be the same as the computer they plan
to use for MX-Contact, such as a laptop. Optionally, a small local
area network (LAN) may be used for training. You are responsible
for ensuring the training environment and workstations are properly
set up prior to the arrival of the instructor.
Comprehensive user training is essential to
the success of this project. Changing your internal processes sometimes
has a dramatic impact on your daily operations. Some users may resist
the change.
All user training involves
a combination of class prerequisite reading and classroom training.
The classroom training is conducted in a Training Room you make
available for use throughout the project. Hands-on lab sessions
are the primary focus of each class.
The class curriculum can
be customised to meet your specific needs. A training schedule is
set up for each user to ensure that training does not conflict with
departmental schedules. We encourage you to not allow vacations
during the training cycle if at all possible.
We provide training for your system administrator
and one backup administrator on how to manage the MX-Contact system.
The Developer Training on MX-Contact is optional.
Most companies will contract ExchangeWise to provide additional
enhancements to the system over time. If you also want to learn
how to customize forms, create new reports, new templates, or to
make simple changes to the database and forms, ExchangeWise can
provide this training for your database administrator or others
in your information systems group.
We encourage your technical staff to work side-by-side
with our project team to learn how to administer and to modify MX-Contact.
It is our goal to put you in a position to be able to make the simpler
improvements to MX-Contact in the future.
